An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from AZ model. It is based on the British experimental aircraft Saunders-Roe SR.53 and represents its fictional two-seat trainer version with a newly shaped two-seat section. The package contains clear parts and decals with fictional markings in the guise of several countries.
The Saunders-Roe SR.53 was a British experimental interceptor of the 1950s with combined rocket and jet propulsion. In reality only prototypes were built. The Rocketeer trainer versions are the designer's own what-if concept, imagining how the aircraft might have served in different air forces had it gone into production.
Clean the small parts up carefully and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Glue the clear parts of the two-seat cockpit with a cement intended for the purpose. Apply a primer before painting and spray the glossy surfaces with an airbrush. Fictional schemes from various countries allow a colorful treatment.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
