An injection-molded plastic kit of the German twin-engine Siebel Si 204D aircraft in its liaison configuration in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Mistercraft. It is a reissue of an older, time-proven mold; the character of the model matches classic short-run kits with simpler surface detail. The word Verbindungsflugzeug means liaison aircraft.
The Siebel Si 204 was a small twin-engine all-metal aircraft developed from the Fh 104 type. It served as a light transport, as a liaison aircraft and above all as a trainer for pilots of multi-engine aircraft. During the war production largely moved to French and Czechoslovak plants; after the war a related form was built in Czechoslovakia as the Aero C-3.
With an older mold, expect to clean up the parts and the fit more attentively. The cockpit and the glazing, of which the aircraft has plenty, will call for care: masks and polishing the clear parts pay off. After the base color and the varnish under the decals, bring the panels to life with light emphasis and weather the engine nacelles.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
