An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Westland WS-51 Dragonfly helicopter in the HR.3 version in Royal Navy colors, 1:72 scale, from the manufacturer AMP. Besides the plastic parts, the set contains photo-etched parts and painting masks for the glazing.
The Westland WS-51 Dragonfly was the British license-built version of the American Sikorsky S-51 helicopter. In the HR.3 version it served with the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force above all on rescue duties, for liaison and on standby at airfields and with ships at the turn of the forties and fifties.
Separate the small and the photo-etched parts carefully; glue the plastic with thin cement and the photo-etch with cyanoacrylate glue. Mask the cabin glazing with the enclosed masks and paint with an airbrush over a primer. The busy rotor pylon and the landing gear will reward careful fitting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
