Kits-World 1:32 Heinkel He-111H-6 3D full-color Instrument Panel is a full-color three-dimensional instrument panel on decal paper for a cockpit in the large scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from the maker Kits-World is a full-color print of an instrument panel with a three-dimensional relief on decal paper. It is transferred into a model by the same procedure as an ordinary decal, but thanks to the layering it comes across after varnishing as a three-dimensional part. It replaces the hand-painting of dials, which in any scale is the most laborious part of a cockpit.
With this type the pilot's compartment is glazed over a large part, so the panel is not hidden in the gloom behind a frame: it is visible from above as well as from the side and it has to fit exactly. The exact position is therefore more important than with machines with a narrow sliding cover: the slightest shift of the design against the edge of the part is apparent under the glazing. The chosen design belongs on the surface of the cast panel, not on the structural frame around it. Check also how the printed surface meets the sprayed interior; a full-color panel always loses against a raw-looking surrounding paint, so it pays off to unify the surroundings with a shade and a fine accenting of the edges.
Varnish the base with a gloss varnish, otherwise air will be caught under the print and the surface will silver. Soak the decal briefly, move it into place and push the water out from under it with a soft cloth. Dose the softener drop by drop; a three-dimensional layer reacts to it more sensitively than a thin classic decal and if it is oversoaked it can ripple. Let it dry thoroughly, and only then go over it with a matte varnish and bring the glasses of the instruments to life with a drop of gloss if you wish.
An accessory for a model. A kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
