A three-dimensional Revell puzzle whose real subject is a sailing ship from the world of One Piece. Both names of the same ship stand in the title, Flying Lamb as well as Going Merry, because both are used in different language versions of the story. The finished piece serves as a decoration, not as a model to be built by classic modeling technique.
The Going Merry is a small caravel with a ram's head at the bow, the first vessel of the Straw Hat crew. Its round sides, high stern and single mast with the mainsail make a silhouette that readers recognize at first glance. In the story the ship is more than a means of transport: it appears as a full member of the crew, which has made it one of the most popular motifs of the whole series.
The pieces are taken out of the sheets and slotted into each other, so no glue, paints or tools are needed during the build. Work on a flat surface and go by whole sections: the hull first, then the deck and the superstructures, and the mast with the rigging at the end. Push the joints home evenly and never break them by force, as paper and foam material has no reserve of strength.
The assembled ship is not glued or varnished any further: it comes out of the box already colored and once slotted together it is finished.
