A full-color instrument panel with a three-dimensional relief for a model of the fighter aircraft Republic P-47D Thunderbolt in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The instrument panel is the first thing a visitor to a display case examines in a cockpit, and at the same time the place where the plastic part from a kit usually is not enough. This element carries the whole panel executed in color and with a three-dimensional relief, so the dials and the controls are not merely drawn on a surface. It is stuck onto the plastic part in the kit and will save you painting it and picking out the individual instruments by hand, which in 1:32 scale is work for a whole evening.
The P-47 Thunderbolt was an American single-seat fighter aircraft, one of the heaviest among the fighters of the Second World War. It was powered by a radial piston engine and its turbosupercharger was placed at the rear in the fuselage, from where a long duct led to the engine; it is precisely that which gave the aircraft its bulky lower outline. The P-47D version was built in the greatest numbers and a whole range of Allied users flew it, so the choice of color schemes is wide.
Check the method of application in the instructions, as it differs between the individual lines. Clean and degrease the plastic part in the kit before gluing, seat the element with tweezers and press it on with a soft stick, so that it adheres in the recesses as well. The exact extent of the set and the procedure are stated in the manufacturer's instructions.
A set of elements for a cockpit is supplied. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
