A resin figure in 1:35 from the figure line of the maker PANZER ART. It is not a vehicle kit but a figure to be fitted into a built model. According to the name the pose is carried for the turret hatch of the Panther tank and matches the position of the loader, that is the second figure that appears in a turret beside the commander.
Execution. The attribute Normandy in the name denotes the summer execution of the clothing — a lighter cut without winter layers, with more sharply carried folds and less bulk. The stance is more relaxed than the commander's: a loader tends to be seated differently in a hatch and does not have the same upright bearing, which is an advantage for a modeler, because a pair of figures in a turret then does not look static. The figure makes sense on its own as well as as an addition to the commander of the same line.
Wash the casting in lukewarm water with dish soap — mold release agent is the most common cause of paint peeling off. Separate the casting block with a saw or a knife and sand the face down wet with your airways protected. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Try the seating in the hatch dry and adjust the lower edge as needed; if two figures are headed for the turret, always try them at the same time, so that they do not get in each other's way and their height above the edge matches.
Painting. After the primer, lay the base shade of the clothing down, lighten the edges of the folds and bring the shadow in with a thin dark glaze. With a pair in a turret, mix the shades of the skin and of the uniform from a single batch — a differing tone on two figures in one hatch is the most conspicuous mistake that can be made. Build the face separately and give it time, even though it will be partly covered by the edge of the turret. Finally even the gloss out with a matte clear coat and match the weathering to the vehicle model.
