1:35 M4 Sherman road wheels, pattern No. 6 is a resin accessory set from PANZER ART. It is not a model of the tank but replacement road wheels for building a Sherman in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is a resin accessory, not a kit of the vehicle. It holds road wheels for the American M4 Sherman medium tank in 1:35 scale and serves to be swapped for the plastic parts of the base kit. It is made by PANZER ART, a Polish brand focused on cast accessories for armored vehicles. The serial designation pattern No. 6 is a distinguishing detail, so the set carries a different type of wheel from the other items of the same range.
The M4 Sherman was built during the Second World War by a whole range of American plants, and the wheels on them differed in the design of the disc and in the way they were made. In service, moreover, wheels were commonly changed one by one, so a single vehicle often carried two or even three different patterns at once. For a modeler it is a rewarding detail: by swapping the wheels a model can quickly be moved from a generic Sherman to a particular vehicle from a period photograph, without having to touch the hull.
Wash the castings in warm water with dish soap first, so that the mold release agent is removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw, sand the surfaces down and use protection for your airways, as resin dust is irritating. Use super glue, as plastic cement does not work here. Before gluing, check that all the wheels will seat in one plane. Start the painting with a primer, set the rubber treads apart with a darker color and finish the surface with a wash in the hollows, dust pigments and mud effects on the lower part.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
