The F-15 Eagle is an American twin-engine fighter aircraft intended for the air superiority role. The C version is single-seat and is among the most widespread forms of the type. You will recognize it by the high-set wing of large area, the pair of vertical tails and the massive nose into which a powerful radar fitted. Power comes from two turbofan engines, and the machine is famous for its thrust-to-weight ratio, thanks to which it climbs remarkably steeply.
A model of the F-15C in 1:72 scale to be glued together and painted. It is a limited release, with which the contents of the package or the decal sheet tend to be adjusted compared with the ordinary edition. The exact number of parts, the extent of the decals and the color variants offered are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The most work is called for by joining the fuselage to the air intakes and the engine nacelles, so put the parts together dry first and only then glue them. Paint the cockpit with its ejection seat before you close the fuselage up. Mask the glazing before spraying, not once the paint has dried. The gray finish of aircraft in this category rests on the difference of shade between panels, so it pays to lighten and darken the base color area by area and to bring the seams out with a thin wash.
Paints, glue and modeling tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
