This injection-molded plastic kit in the small 1:100 scale is conceived as a snap-fit model that can be put together even without glue. The small format and the low part count make it a quick build that suits tabletop games and collectors' collections. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The IS-4 was a Soviet heavy tank of the end of the Second World War and the early postwar period, developed from the IS family of heavy tanks. It was marked by heavy armor and a massive gun, but it was built only in limited numbers. It was among the heaviest Soviet tanks of its day.
The parts can be put together without glue, but for a firmer joint it is worth securing them with spots of plastic cement. Given the small scale, the model comes out after a base coat, shading and light weathering with pigments. Pick the tracks and the running gear out with a darker shade and a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
