The Focke-Wulf 1000 designation is tied to a German design study from the last months of the Second World War, known from its specification of a thousand kilograms of bomb load, a speed of around a thousand kilometers an hour and a range of around a thousand kilometers. This is an unrealized project: the machine was never built, never flew and never went into production. Modelcollect releases it within its range of project and hypothetical subjects, so the model does not represent a production aircraft but a design proposal that stayed on paper. Count on that when looking for references - no period photographs of a finished machine exist and the color schemes are always an interpretation by the builder.
Proceed as with an ordinary injection-molded kit. Separate the parts from the sprues with nippers, sand the sprue nubs away and glue with liquid polystyrene cement, which is drawn into the seam by capillary action. Apply a primer before painting - it reveals imperfectly filled seams and unifies the base under light shades. Because this is a project machine, the color scheme is not tied to a particular aircraft in a unit and masking with an airbrush leaves you a free hand. Apply the decals over gloss clear coat and finish the build with a matte or semi-gloss overcoat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
