Harrier GR.3/AV-8A/AV-8C 1:144 - special markings is a plastic kit of the first generation of the Harrier vertical take-off aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A small injection-molded plastic kit in 1:144 scale from the manufacturer Mark I Models. The box focuses on the first generation of the Harrier vertical take-off aircraft in both the British (GR.3) and the American (AV-8A/AV-8C) form, and it offers several variants of striking markings. A clear canopy part and a rich decal sheet are included.
The Hawker Siddeley Harrier was the first production combat aircraft with vertical take-off and landing that really entered service. The GR.3 version served with the Royal Air Force (RAF), and the American AV-8A and AV-8C were used by the US Marine Corps. The ability to operate from short strips and improvised sites made the Harrier a legend of the Cold War and of the conflicts it took part in.
The small scale puts the emphasis on clean joints and fine painting. Separate the parts carefully and glue them with plastic cement. Paint the cockpit before you close the fuselage and fit the clear canopy only at the end. Given the small dimensions, thin coats of paint and precise seating of the decals on a smooth surface pay off.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
