Injection-molded plastic kit of the German Pz.Kpfw.III Ausf.N medium tank in the large 1:16 scale from Trumpeter. The large scale allows the hull, the turret with the short gun and the running gear to be rendered in depth and produces a large, impressive model. It is a more demanding kit intended rather for advanced modelers.
The Panzer III was the standard German medium tank of the first half of the Second World War. The Ausf.N version was armed with a short 75 mm gun (derived from the early armament of the Panzer IV), intended above all for infantry fire support and for destroying lighter targets. This support version complemented the tanks armed with anti-tank guns and was used on various fronts, including North Africa and the Eastern Front.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the lower hull before you finish the build. Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic, and cyanoacrylate glue for any photo-etched parts. Apply primer before painting and spray with an airbrush. The German shades (gray, or dark yellow with camouflage) come alive with emphasis on the panels and light weathering; mud and dust effects with washes and pigments give the tank a realistic battlefield look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
