Wheels of the type 6 variant for a 1:16 model of the German armored car. 1:16 Sd.Kfz 234 road wheels (2pcs) type 6 (weighted) closes the set of six tread patterns in the range.
Responsibility details are not available.
The last of the six tread variants in the range for this vehicle. The pair of wheels given in the name has a patch flattened by the weight of the vehicle, so once the model settles on its base it does not look as if it were floating. In the large scale this is a visible change: the viewer may not name what exactly has changed, but the vehicle suddenly strikes him as heavy. The different type numbers also let you build a vehicle with mismatched wheels, as commonly looked the case at the front after repairs.
Several differently armed versions were built on the same chassis. The best known is the one with an enclosed rotating turret and a 5 cm gun, nicknamed Puma, but only a small number of it was built. Beside it ran versions with an open turret and a quick-firing cannon, with a short infantry howitzer and with a long anti-tank gun set on an exposed superstructure. A collector can therefore build a whole family of machines that share exactly this chassis and these wheels.
Paint the rims separately from the rubber and use a half mask of tape, so that you get a clean transition. Grade the dusting: most of the dirt belongs at the edges of the patch and in the hollows of the pattern, while the upper part of the wheel stays cleaner.
To finish it you will need paints and glue of your own.
