Lavochkin La-7 (Czechoslovakia) 1:72 is a plastic kit of the Soviet Second World War fighter in Czechoslovak service.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Lavochkin La-7 fighter in 1:72 scale. It is a modern release of a classic older mold with decal markings for machines in Czechoslovak colors. The level of detail matches traditional kits of this kind, so the model is a rewarding and undemanding build.
The Lavochkin La-7 was one of the best Soviet fighters of the closing phase of the Second World War. It grew out of the proven La-5, received aerodynamic refinements and a more powerful powerplant, and thereby gained an excellent rate of climb and speed near the ground. After the war the La-7 also flew with other operators, including the postwar Czechoslovak Air Force.
With older molds it pays to check how the parts meet, to clean up the joint lines and if necessary to fill small gaps with putty. Use cement for plastic and a primer before painting. Paint the cockpit before closing the fuselage up, and apply the decals to gloss varnish so that they do not silver.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
