The Honda RC213V is a racing prototype built for the top class of the road racing world championship. It did not come about by modifying a production machine, so the shape of the fairing and the layout of the whole design stem solely from racing use. The figure 2014 in the name points to the form for that season; racing machines differ from year to year in the details that show on a model.
This is a set of accessories for a model of this motorcycle in 1:12 scale. It aims at the small things that are visible from all sides on an uncovered structure and where a plastic part runs into its limits. Which parts the package brings and which kit they are shaped for is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
On a motorcycle there is nowhere to hide a detail, because the model has no bodywork to cover the structure. Lay out the order of the work in advance, therefore: whatever belongs inside the frame has to be finished and painted before the frame is closed. Join the parts that are not of polystyrene with cyanoacrylate glue. Wash and degrease the areas before painting, because fingerprints show under a finish.
The set suits a modeler who is building a racing motorcycle and wants a comparable level of detail over the whole machine, not only on the large areas. Given the size of the individual parts this is work for tweezers, a steady hand and good light, rather for a more experienced builder.
