Responsibility details are not available.
This self-adhesive tint film from SX-Art is intended for the clear parts of a model of the Typhoon-K wheeled armored vehicle in 1:35 scale. The manufacturer makes several films with exactly the same name, which differ only in which kit they are cut for: this variant is prepared for the kit from the Takom brand. Choose accordingly, so that the pieces sit on the right moldings.
The Typhoon-K is a Russian 6x6 wheeled armored vehicle of the MRAP category, built on the chassis of a heavy truck. It serves to carry crews in a threatened area, and the hull is shaped and armored with resistance to an explosion from below in mind. Both the cab and the crew compartment have small windows and vision blocks with thick laminated glass, which has a marked color cast.
First wash and degrease the clear parts. Lift the piece of film off with tweezers or the tip of a sharp knife and do not touch the adhesive side with your fingers. Lay it on dry, check the position and only then press it down with a soft stick from the center toward the edges. The vehicle has a great many small vision blocks, so work one piece at a time and under good light. It is easier to tint the moldings before you glue them into the hull. An overspray of varnish robs the film of its gloss.
