The addition in the name states that the plates have the European format, that is the elongated low shape common on European vehicles. The package holds decals, not a car model or its parts, and it is the first volume of this part of the range.
On a car model a plate is an element the viewer reads as text, and that is why it is noticed before the polished paint. The set deals with this detail by printing that holds crisp lettering and framing even in 1:24 scale. The European plate format is a distinguishing mark in itself: on a model with a European subject, an American or Japanese plate looks wrong by its shape alone, regardless of what is written on it. Prepare a glossy surface, because decals silver on a matte finish. Cut the motif out with a sharp knife right at the artwork, transfer it with tweezers and position it with a brush and water. On a pressed or shaped surface use a decal softener, which draws the carrier down onto the surface, and after that do not touch the decal again. Once dry, fix the area with varnish to the gloss level you want. Dust and mud effects come right at the very end, so that the plate fits the overall condition of the vehicle.
