A nineteen-inch forged wheel with double arms, as the sharp version of the Bavarian mid-size coupe wears them. Four discs, 1:24 scale.

A double-spoke pattern is among the most widespread solutions on the sporting versions of German cars. The arms run out from the center in pairs, so the disc comes across as denser than the number of real load-bearing elements would warrant, and yet enough room stays between them for heat to be carried away from the brakes. Designation by a styling number is the standard way of telling individual patterns apart at this carmaker; the number 437 belongs to the forged set of the sharp version of the mid-size coupe.
The subject wears the wheel in two diameters, a smaller one at the front and a larger one at the rear. The name of this set states nineteen inches, which is precisely that front size. Anyone building a car on wheels of a uniform diameter will get a look somewhat quieter than on the subject; anyone wanting to be exact should count on a different wheel at the rear axle and take the difference in the profile of the rubber into account.
A forged wheel has a light, slightly satin surface on the subject, which in a small scale is best captured with a silver with a little gray in it instead of a mirror chrome. The package contains four discs without tires. The space of the brake is visible behind the arms, so it pays to paint the disc and the caliper from the kit before the wheel is fitted.
