This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale depicts the racing Lancia Stratos Turbo, a Group 5 endurance special. The model faithfully reproduces the striking body with its front spoiler, widened fenders, roof spoiler and rear wing. The front wheels steer, the interior has a detailed dashboard and bucket seat, and a driver figure is included. The decals offer both a red and a green color scheme with sponsor markings.
The Lancia Stratos was built with a wedge-shaped body by the coachbuilder Bertone and a mid-mounted 2.4-liter Dino DOHC V6. The base model won the World Rally Championship three times, from 1974 to 1976. The derived Stratos Turbo was developed as a turbocharged Group 5 endurance special with roughly 520 horsepower.
Spray the body with an airbrush and finish it with a gloss clear coat; apply the sponsor decals onto a smooth base. Highlight the engine bay and wheel suspension separately, and finish the driver figure on its own. Matte down the tires.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
