Tamiya 1:35 Sd.Kfz.163 Sturmgeschütz IV is a plastic kit of the German assault gun on the chassis of the Panzer IV in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from the Japanese maker Tamiya represents the German assault gun Sturmgeschütz IV (Sd.Kfz. 163) in 1:35 scale. The model combines the hull and the running gear of the Panzer IV with a low armored superstructure carrying the gun. The set consists of well shaped plastic parts. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Sturmgeschütz IV came about by mounting the proven assault gun superstructure on the chassis of the Panzer IV medium tank. It carried the 7.5 cm StuK 40 gun with a long barrel and served the German army at the end of the Second World War both as infantry support and as an effective anti-tank weapon.
Finish and paint the running gear and the tracks before you close the hull up. Glue the plastic parts with a liquid cement for plastic. After laying down the base, choose a late war German camouflage, add a coat of Zimmerit antimagnetic paste according to the real subject and finish the whole with a wash and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
