A plastic kit of the tuned Toyota Chaser sedan of the JZX100 generation in TRD specification, in 1:24 scale, from the Japanese firm Aoshima's The Tuned Car range. The model captures the 1998 model year version with TRD aero parts. It is a classic kit that has to be assembled, glued together and painted.
The Toyota Chaser JZX100 is an icon of the Japanese tuning and drift scene. In Tourer V trim it is powered by a turbocharged 1JZ series inline six, popular because its output is easy to raise. The TRD aero kit adds sport bumpers, side skirts, a rear wing and further features.
Glue the body with thin cement for plastic and apply a gloss clear coat before the decals. With a tuned subject, watch the stance of the wheels and the ride height. Rubber tires, clear and plated parts and decals, including the features of the aero kit, tend to be included. Prime the surfaces and spray with an airbrush in thin coats.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
