Ivy Foliage Brown Oak Large is Green Stuff World scenic foliage in the shape of an oak leaf in a brown tone, in the larger size. Meant for late autumn and winter scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
A material for making vegetation on a diorama. The leaves have a lobed oak shape and the brown tone of dried foliage, and the Large size is the bigger of the two variants. The oak, besides, is a tree on which dry leaves stay on the branches through the winter, so the brown variant has a logical place in a scene outside autumn as well.
While green growth says a scene is alive, brown foliage says the opposite: the season is over, the place is abandoned, the vehicle has stood here longer than it should. Around a wreck, beside parked vehicles, on an overgrown wall or around a half-collapsed structure, brown foliage does exactly that job. It works well alongside rust and dust pigments, because it moves in the same warm family of color and the scene does not fall apart into incongruous patches. The larger leaf size suits the foreground and places where it is meant to show that this is a particular tree.
