A white shade from the Number Five brand, prepared for plastic models and their accessories. The name aims at the white that is among the most typical colors of BMW M3 cars of the E30 generation.
The M3 of the E30 generation came about as a homologation basis for Group A touring cars, and it therefore had to be built in series of thousands. It shares only a few panels with the ordinary 3 Series: it received fenders of its own, a rear window set higher, a different trunk lid and an aerodynamically reworked tail with a wing. Under the hood worked a four-cylinder with a head derived from the six-cylinder engine of the sports division. In the circuit championships of the late 1980s it was among the most successful machines of all, and a white body with colored stripes is its best-known form.
For builders of car models who do both civilian and racing M3s and want a white without a yellow or blue cast. The shade also suits as a base under decals and under bolder racing schemes.
