Luftwaffe WWII Shingles Camo STENCIL No. 2

Luftwaffe WWII Shingles Camo STENCIL No. 2 (77propeller)

This is not a self-adhesive mask for glazing but a reusable plastic airbrush stencil, with a pattern sized to match 1:48 scale. It serves for spraying the characteristic shingle camouflage pattern that German aircraft carried in the Second World War. The stencil can be bent slightly for spraying on rounded surfaces as well.

Use

• Hold the stencil against the surface of the model and spray lightly through the cutout shapes with an airbrush.
• Bending the stencil lets you follow curved surfaces and leading edges.
• Combining several placements gives an irregular, natural-looking shingle pattern.
• The smooth face of the stencil does not damage the finish on the model; once cleaned it can be used again.

Who it is for

For modelers of German aircraft in 1:48 scale who want an even and repeatable shingle camouflage pattern without cutting masks by hand.

This is an aid for airbrush work. Paints and the model are not included in the package. Make sure the room is ventilated while spraying.
