For airplanes the 1:32 scale is a large one and every simplified detail in the cockpit is clearly noticeable on a finished model; it is exactly there that this kind of accessory makes the most sense. The Yankee system was an emergency escape system with which machines originally without an ejection seat were retrofitted in later service. A rocket joined to a harness pulled the pilot out of the cockpit, so the assembly looks different from a conventional ejection seat and is conspicuous above all in the arrangement above the seat and around it. A resin casting captures the shape of the assembly and its details substantially more faithfully than a simplified plastic part does.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap, so that no mold release agent stays on the surface. Cut the casting block off with a fine-toothed saw and sand the remainder wet with your airways protected. It is glued with super glue; on small parts the gel variant and application with a toothpick prove their worth. Paint the part away from the model: a primer coat, the shade of the interior, a dark wash into the recesses, a dry brush on the edges. Pick out the straps and the colored warning elements with a fine brush only at the end. Try the seating dry before gluing.
This is not a model kit. The set is intended to complete a separately sold plastic kit; the base model, glue and paints are not part of the package.
