A masking set for spraying a model of the four-engine Avro Lancaster B Mk.I bomber in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Avro Lancaster is a British four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War and one of the best-known machines of its category. The B Mk.I version is the basic production form. In the large 1:32 scale a model comes out at a respectable size, so a cleanly sprayed surface with no bleeding edges pays off on it.
Masking elements prepared to measure for a Lancaster B Mk.I model in 1:32 scale. The masks are cut to shape, so the lengthy cutting and applying of strips of tape falls away. The exact extent of the set, the placement of the individual masks and the recommended order of the color coats are given in the manufacturer's instructions, which it pays to go through before you spray the first coat.
Apply the masks to a clean, dry and degreased surface before spraying and press the edges down firmly, so that paint cannot flow under them. Lay the paint on in thin coats and rather perpendicular to the edge of the mask than at an angle under it. Lift the mask off as soon as the paint has dried, best of all with tweezers pulled at a low angle. With any adhesive residue a gentle wipe with a damp cloth helps. Cover the remaining small areas with tape in advance; the set deals only with the shapes it is prepared for.
Neither the aircraft kit nor the paints are part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
