A turned metal pitot tube and nose probes for the F-4 Phantom II in the long nose version (F-4E, F, G, EJ and the reconnaissance RF-4) in 1:32 scale from MASTER.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of turned metal parts for the nose of the F-4 Phantom II fighter-bomber in 1:32 scale. The package is intended for the long nose versions, the F-4E, F, G, EJ and the reconnaissance variants RF-4B, C, E and EJ. The Polish manufacturer MASTER turns the parts from metal, so they have more faithful geometry and sharper detail than plastic moldings. The nose version matches the shape of the probes on these later Phantoms.
The F-4 Phantom II is a two-seat twin-engine fighter and strike aircraft, one of the most widespread combat aircraft of its time. The versions with a lengthened nose (from the F-4E onward and the reconnaissance RF-4) carried different equipment and sensors from the early short nose machines. The nose probes are among the details that often look too thick on plastic models.
Cut off the original plastic part and clean it up, drill a hole and glue the metal probe in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A metal surface holds paint once a primer has been sprayed on. Move the fine turned parts with tweezers and fit them carefully.
It is not an aircraft model but a metal accessory. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
