Junkers Ju-88 A-0 - Conversion Set turns a Ju 88 A-1 kit into a pre-production machine of the A-0 series. The resin parts are complemented by two marking options.

The set brings replacement propeller spinners with four blades, two spare blades and two marking options. The parts are shaped for the large Junkers Ju 88 A-1 kit from the Revell brand and make it possible to build an aircraft from the short pre-production A-0 batch that preceded the production bombers.
The Junkers Ju 88 came into being as a fast bomber, with the expectation that it would simply outrun fighters. Practice changed the requirements: the ability to make a steep attack was added, along with dive brakes under the wings and heavier defensive armament, which weighed the machine down. Even so it became the most versatile German twin-engine aircraft of the war and served as a bomber, a night fighter, a reconnaissance aircraft and an anti-shipping aircraft. The pre-production examples of the A-0 series from the end of the thirties carried out mainly test and training duties.
The propeller spinner is a conspicuous element on this aircraft, so seat it so that it lines up with the outline of the engine nacelle. Check the resin blades against one another and straighten any warping by dipping them briefly in hot water and then cooling them in cold.
The aircraft kit is sold separately, as are the paints and the fillers.
