An injection-molded plastic kit of the German twin-engined heavy fighter (Zerstörer) Messerschmitt Bf 110 in the C-2/C-7 versions in the large 1:32 scale from Revell. It is a substantial and demanding model meant for experienced modelers (the manufacturer's highest difficulty grade) and made up of more than four hundred parts. The package offers a finely worked cockpit interior, two separate engines, movable propellers and wheels, a detailed landing gear, machine guns and bombs, and it allows two different marking options to be built.
The Messerschmitt Bf 110 was a German twin-engined heavy fighter conceived as a long-range escort fighter of the Zerstörer (destroyer) class. It excelled in range and in strong concentrated forward firepower, but in a turning fight against single-engined fighters it fell behind. The machines of the C series were used from the beginning of the Second World War, among other places during the campaign in the West in 1940 and over the Eastern Front. They were powered by inverted V12 Daimler-Benz DB 601 engines.
Glue the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic and apply a primer before painting. Mask the extensive canopy glazing carefully and spray with an airbrush; the Luftwaffe camouflage shades (RLM) are typical. Both detailed engines can be displayed exposed if you wish. Given the size of the model and the number of parts, patience and continuous dry-fitting pay off.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
