Sports planes are light machines for recreational flying, basic training and competition disciplines. Against combat equipment everything about them is smaller and simpler: a short fuselage, fixed landing gear or only lightly faired gear, a glazed cabin for one or two people and a low-powered engine. That is exactly why they make a rewarding subject, because on a model you can see the shape of the wing and the layout of the cabin, which get lost among the mass of detail on larger machines. The exact subject and the choice of marking variants are given by the manufacturer's instructions.
This is a kit to be glued and finished, not a finished model. The 1:32 scale is favorable for small aircraft: the finished model stays manageable in size and yet carries the interior fit-out of the cabin and fine surface detail. You will find the number of parts, the contents of the decal sheet and the extent of the fit-out in the manufacturer's instructions.
Clear the parts of surplus material and production marks, sand the mating surfaces and assemble the whole thing dry before you reach for the glue. Use cement intended for plastic kits and apply it sparingly, so that it does not run into the glazing. Finish and paint the cabin before you close the fuselage. Wash and degrease the surface before painting, mask the glazing before spraying and take the mask off as soon as the paint has set.
The set suits modelers who want something other than military subjects for a display case, and thanks to the smaller number of shapes it is kind to the less experienced as well. Paints, thinner, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
