The 1:32 MG-15 8 Pieces item serves to improve large aircraft models. It replaces the flexible defensive machine guns, which come out simplified in injection-molded plastic and lack the fine shapes of the real weapon. The host aircraft model is obtained by the builder separately.
The MG 15 was a German aircraft machine gun of 7.92 mm caliber, developed for the hand-held defense of bombers and reconnaissance aircraft. The gunner worked it from the open and glazed gun positions of the Heinkel He 111, the Junkers Ju 88, the Dornier Do 17 and a number of seaplanes. The gun owed its unmistakable silhouette to the saddle double drum magazine seated above the receiver and to the wooden stock with a shoulder stock. From the middle of the war, faster-firing designs pushed it out of newly introduced types, but in older aircraft it served to the end of the fighting.
Cut the carrier surfaces away with a fine saw or a fresh blade, level the cut and dry-fit the seating before you join anything. Small weapons are held most reliably by super glue applied with the tip of a toothpick. Unify the surface with a dark primer, then bring the metal areas to life with a graphite sheen along the edges and a mild accent in the recesses.
Paints and glue are not supplied with the accessory.
