The Lamborghini Aventador S from the Snap Kit range of the Japanese company Aoshima in 1:32 scale. The body is molded directly in a pearl blue shade, the parts are joined by snapping together, and you therefore need neither glue nor paints to finish the model. It is the quickest route to a finished supercar on a shelf and at the same time a rewarding gift for someone who only wants to try building a model.
Lamborghini introduced the Aventador S in 2016 as a fundamental update of the Aventador. In the middle of the car a naturally aspirated twelve-cylinder remained, all four wheels remained driven, but rear-wheel steering was added, along with reworked aerodynamics with markedly higher downforce on the front axle and a new front bumper with sharp edges. Scissor doors, an extremely low silhouette and a wedge shape have been typical of the brand since the days of the Countach. The Aventador S is among the last large production cars with a naturally aspirated twelve-cylinder, which makes it a rewarding collector's object.
The parts are molded in color, the joints are designed for snapping together and the number of parts is low, so even a child or a complete beginner can manage the assembly without tools. Modelers who want to take the result further usually just darken the panel gaps with a thin paneliner shade, add detail to the lights and matte black to the grilles and window surrounds. Anyone who wants to can repaint the model, but it is not necessary.
