Photo-etched seat belts of the American type in 1:32 scale, the first part of the series.
Responsibility details are not available.
Photo-etched seat belts of the American type in 1:32 scale. Photo-etch makes it possible to run a belt in a thin layer that keeps a sharp edge and the small relief of the buckle, and that can still be bent exactly where the belt should fall over the edge of the seat. The number in the name marks the first part of the series of belts, which the supplier divided this way.
A belt molded in one piece with the seat holds only one shape, whereas with a photo-etched part you keep the shape yourself. A cockpit in 1:32 scale is clearly visible under an open canopy and fitted belts are the first thing a visitor notices on it.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface rather than by twisting, because otherwise they bend at the joint. Level the remaining tag with a fine file. Make the bends over the edge of a blade or in a bender, best of all in a single movement, so that the metal does not fatigue at the bend.
For the modeler who has already worked with photo-etch at some point, or who wants to learn on a small set. Beyond tweezers, a sharp blade and a fine file nothing special is needed, and a bender makes the work easier.
This is an accessory set. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
