This photo-etched brass set serves to detail a plastic model of the German Flakpanzer I self-propelled anti-aircraft vehicle in 1:35 scale. It adds fine elements that are hard to mold in plastic and thereby raises the fidelity of the kit.
The Flakpanzer I was created on the chassis of the Panzer I light tank by mounting a 20 mm anti-aircraft gun on it. It was an improvised self-propelled anti-aircraft gun of the German army from the beginning of the Second World War, used among other places on the Eastern Front and in North Africa.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, form the bends on a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The open structure of the vehicle invites careful painting before the hull is assembled. A wash and pigments bring out the intricate surfaces of the gun mount and the running gear nicely.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
