This universal set from the Czech maker HGW brings realistic cockpit seat belts for late-war German fighters of the Second World War in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit, but an aftermarket accessory suited to several types of aircraft.
The set combines printed belts imitating fabric with fine photo-etched buckles. The straps are laser pre-cut and pliable, so they can be shaped faithfully. The universal design allows them to be used on the seats of various late German fighters.
Choose a suitable shade of belt, work it between your fingers, thread it through a photo-etched buckle and settle it into the seat; it is glued with cyanoacrylate glue. The fabric belts take toning with filters and other common non-aggressive products.
This is a detail accessory, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
