The set treats the crew of German army armored hardware on the Afghan deployment. German units served in this mission within an international force, and both their vehicles and their equipment differ noticeably from the American and British ones, so the figures cannot be replaced by another modern set. The 1:35 scale matches ordinary kits of armored vehicles.
A crew belongs above all in hatches and at open access panels, where the upper half of the figure is visible, or else outside beside the vehicle at a halt. Try the figure dry first, because individual kits have their hatches set slightly differently. The composition of the set and the breakdown of the parts are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry so that the paint holds. Cut any excess material away a little distance from the part with a sharp blade and sand the remainder with fine abrasive paper. Choose both glue and paints to match the material of the parts. The modern German camouflage pattern is broken up and on a figure in this scale it looks better when the patches are painted finer than they really are. Work from the base tone to the shadows in the folds and finally to the highlights on the edges.
