A set of injection-molded plastic figures of German assault troops of the Second World War in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. The package holds eight figures of soldiers in dynamic combat poses, together with period weapons and equipment. The figures are excellent for bringing dioramas with German armor to life or as an addition to a combat scene.
The set captures German infantry in action: a commander giving orders, a machine gunner, soldiers with rifles and submachine guns and figures crossing obstacles and advancing. The uniforms and equipment match the period from the middle of the Second World War onwards. The model serves as a factual historical and diorama rendering of the soldiers of the period, without any evaluative intent.
Separate the parts carefully from the sprues, clean the parting lines up and glue them with modeling cement for plastic. Lay down a base coat of primer before painting; paint the uniforms with an airbrush or a brush and shade them with highlights and shadows, and handle the faces with the technique of successive layers. Bring out the equipment and the weapons with a dry brush, and a fine wash will add weathering.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
