A precisely turned metal barrel in 1:35 scale from MASTER, a replacement for the plastic barrel of models of the Italian medium tanks M13/40 and M14/41. These tanks carried the Cannone da 47/32 gun (47 mm, barrel length L/32), which was their main armament. It is not a kit but a detailing part that raises the realism of a model.
A turned metal gun barrel is perfectly straight and has an accurate muzzle, so the lengthy filling and sanding of joints typical of split plastic barrels falls away. On a smaller 47 mm gun the cleanness and accuracy of the rendering stand out all the more.
Degrease the metal barrel and fit it in place of the original part according to the building sequence; glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer to the metal before painting so that the paint holds well.
The part is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
