This is a resin detail accessory, not a stand-alone kit. The package contains castings of the engine and of the equipment of the engine compartment of the M109 self-propelled howitzer in 1:35 scale and makes it possible to open this part of the vehicle up as a display of the technical layout or for a diorama depiction of maintenance.
The M109 is an American tracked self-propelled howitzer of 155 mm caliber, one of the most widespread artillery vehicles of the Western bloc, which went through a number of upgrades. An opened engine compartment with a faithful powerplant belongs among the impressive elements of models built in detail.
First wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and cut the casting blocks off carefully. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue and sand with breathing protection. The engine compartment is brought to life by distinguishing the units by color, by oil stains, dust and fine washes that emphasize the broken-up shapes.
