1:35 Marble Decal Red/Beige

Marble Decal Red/Beige - marble paving (1:35, USCHI van der Rosten)

A decal sheet with the texture of a marble floor in a red and beige form, not a kit. It creates a realistic paved floor for dioramas and vignettes in 1:35 scale - a courtyard, a grand interior, a hall or a damaged urban space. The warm red and beige tone suits historicist and neoclassical buildings alike. The pattern is printed on thin film that blends with the base once sealed with clear. The manufacturer is the German brand USCHI van der Rosten.

Use

• Level the base smooth and spray it on the light side - the color shows through the film.
• If you want depth, pre-shade the base with marked contrast; it softens slightly once the decal is applied but stays legible.
• Apply the decal wet onto a flat surface and settle it with a setting solution against bubbles.
• Emphasize the joints with a wash and add wear and grime with pigments.
• Finish with a clear coat according to the sheen you want.

Who it is for

For builders of dioramas and vignettes in 1:35 who want to lay a convincing paved floor with a warm marble pattern quickly.

This is a finishing accessory (a decal), not a model. Paints, clear coat, setting solutions and a base board are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
