Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American MQ-8B Fire Scout unmanned helicopter in 1:35 scale from Takom. This package concentrates on the armed version (with missiles) and offers an option with folding rotor blades for stowage on board. Photo-etched and clear parts and decals for several marking options are included. It is a vertical take-off and landing unmanned machine (VTOL), not a classic manned helicopter. The exact contents of the package and the number of parts are not stated here.
The MQ-8B Fire Scout is an American unmanned helicopter developed by Northrop Grumman for the US Navy. It is marked out by its vertical take-off and landing capability and a four-blade main rotor. It served for reconnaissance, surveillance and armed reconnaissance duties, and in the armed configuration it could carry light missiles. Operation was handled remotely and the machine worked above all from the decks of warships. The 8B version was later complemented and replaced by a larger variant.
Clean the small and photo-etched parts carefully and glue them according to their material. Decide whether you will assemble the rotor blades extended or folded. Fit the armament and the pylons as shown in the instructions. Apply a primer and the paints with an airbrush, and after a gloss varnish apply the decals. Gray shades suit a naval machine; emphasize the panel lines discreetly with a wash and add only light wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included, unless stated otherwise.
