Steel Panzer IV rollers on a cast base, the third pattern for a build in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A replacement for the return rollers of a model of the Panzer IV in 1:35. The name defines a combination of two features: the rollers are all-steel and their base is cast, and it is the third pattern in order. It is a replacement part for the running gear; you will not build a tank from it.
The Panzer IV was built by several works in parallel and each dealt with the small castings a little in its own way. Revisions forced by service and by the availability of material were added as well. The result is several forms of the same assembly, which differ in the outline of the base, the shape of the hub or the way of attachment. The number of the pattern in the name therefore serves so that the builder can choose the form that is on their subject.
The most reliable guide is a side photograph of the particular vehicle; if you do not have one, go by the period and the version you are building. During assembly watch mainly one thing: all the rollers have to lie in a single line, otherwise the top run of the track will lose the right sag. It helps to draw a thin line on the superstructure in advance and offer the parts up to it one by one. Do not rush the procedure, so that the spacings do not drift.
