A decal sheet for a model of the B-25C Mitchell medium bomber in 1:72 scale. It completes a finished paint job on the model with printed markings.
Responsibility details are not available.
Decals go onto a model only after it is painted, when the surface is continuous and smooth. Until then, leave the sheet in its packaging. The items for a model of the B-25C Mitchell in 1:72 scale are then applied one by one according to the manufacturer's instructions, which also show their placement on the fuselage, the wing and the tail surfaces.
The Mitchell was an American twin-engined medium bomber with a shoulder wing, twin vertical tail surfaces and a nose landing gear. The C version was built in the early period of the war and had a glazed nose for the bombardier. The type was used for attacks from low and medium altitude and served with many Allied users.
Do not cut the whole sheet up in advance; separate the individual items only when you are about to apply them. Before applying them, check in the instructions whether the decals are waterslide or self-adhesive, because soaking destroys a self-adhesive item, whereas a waterslide one will not release without being soaked. Work on gloss varnish, hold the item with tweezers by its edge and guide it into place with a damp brush. Once dry, check whether a corner is lifting anywhere; it can be pressed down with a brush dipped in water, and on waterslide decals a softening solution helps as well. Store the rest of the sheet in the dark and dry, otherwise the print goes brittle in time and breaks.
A decal sheet is supplied. The kit, paints, varnishes and softening solution are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
