It is not a vehicle model but four resin castings of modern plastic drums of the kind used to transport and store chemicals. Containers like these are seen at practically every workshop, warehouse, filling station and military camp today, so the set serves well both for populating a diorama and as a load on a vehicle bed.
The package holds four resin drums and a decal sheet with warning and hazard markings, which give the containers a specific content and a convincing look. The castings are solid, with a fine surface matching molded plastic, including the ribs and the closures.
Wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release residue, and cut the casting blocks off with a saw rather than snapping them. Protect your airways while sanding. Apply a primer before painting. Modern plastic drums tend to be a saturated blue, white, green or black and have a rather satin surface, so a completely matte finish looks unnatural. Apply the decals over a gloss base so that they do not silver. Keep the weathering restrained: a dark wash in the ribs, light chipping and some weathering pigment on the lower part are enough. The drums are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, as cement for plastic does not work on resin.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
