The second part of the line devoted to the Polish armored units in the Italian theater. The marking sheet is intended for three British forms of the Sherman, as the name gives them: the Mk II, the Mk III and the Mk IB with the 105 mm howitzer. It is not a kit but decals that add tactical markings to a finished and painted model. The 1:35 scale matches the most common size of models of armor.
The British designations of Shermans differ from the American ones and it is worth knowing them before buying a kit. The Sherman Mk II matches the American M4A1 with a cast hull, the Mk III is the M4A2 with diesel engines and the Mk IB is the M4 version armed with a 105 mm howitzer instead of a gun, that is a vehicle meant for fire support. The Polish armored units fought in Italy from 1943 to the end of the war and their hardware carried national insignia of their own alongside the British system of markings.
First check which of the forms listed you are actually building, because the layout of the markings differs between them. The hull and the turret of the Sherman have plenty of flat areas, but even so, even the area under the decal out with gloss varnish and go by the manufacturer's instructions while applying. After fixing with a matte varnish, a light dusting in a pale shade suits the dry Italian terrain.
