Friulmodel metal tracks in 1:35 scale are a replacement set of individual white metal links for the German heavily armored light tank PzKpfw. I Ausf. F. It is not a model but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic or rubber tracks from the kit. The links are joined with metal pins into a workable run with a convincing weight and sag.
The PzKpfw. I Ausf. F was a German light tank with unusually heavy armor, intended to support the infantry. Compared with the original Panzer I it had a far more massive hull and wider running gear, and it therefore used a different, more robust type of track. Only a small number were built, which makes it all the more interesting for collectors. The set replaces its specific track.
First clean the flash off the individual links and fit them together. They are joined with metal pins made from the enclosed wire, which you cut to length, and the result is a genuinely workable run that follows the road wheels and the natural sag between them. Metal holds paint and pigments excellently, so we recommend painting and weathering the tracks before fitting them to the model. The robust wide track comes into its own once the texture is brought out with paint and weathering.
This is a detail set of metal tracks, not a vehicle model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
