This is a resin accessory in 1:35 scale, not a model on its own. The set holds parts of sand armor, with which a model of the LVT amphibious tracked carrier is completed for better protection and a combat-worn look.
The LVT, or Landing Vehicle Tracked, was an American amphibious tracked carrier, central to the landing operations in the Pacific. Crews added sandbags and improvised plates as protection against splinters and lighter anti-tank fire while closing on the shore. These modifications give a model the typical look of a vehicle in active service.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and cut off the casting blocks. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sandbags benefit from earthy shades, a wash and dust pigments to bring up the texture.
The accessory is made of resin and is supplied unpainted and without the base model. Glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
