A set of cast stowage for the German Sd.Kfz. 231 and Sd.Kfz. 263 heavy eight-wheeled armored cars in 1:35 scale. It contains equipment, baggage and secured gear shaped to particular areas of the vehicles. The eight-wheeled cars operated far ahead of their own units, so the crews carried supplies for several days.
The Sd.Kfz. 231 was a heavy eight-wheeled armored reconnaissance car with a turret and with steering from both ends of the vehicle, which let it reverse as fast as it drove forward. The Sd.Kfz. 263 was the signals version without a rotating turret but with a massive frame aerial above the hull; that is its most conspicuous feature.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and try the fit dry. Paint the stowage separately before you seat it. Set the materials apart by surface: canvas flat, metal with a sheen, wood with texture. Suggest the mounting with thin wire. At the end unify the whole with a dust pigment, so that the stowage belongs to the vehicle.
The set is an accessory to a kit and does not replace the kit. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
