A set of cast stowage for the American M4A3 Sherman medium tank in 1:35 scale. It contains equipment, baggage and secured gear shaped to seat on particular places on the hull and the turret. That is exactly what sets it apart from general stowage sets: no hunting for where each piece belongs and no fitting of the individual pieces.
The M4A3 was the Sherman with the American gasoline engine and was among the most widespread versions with US Army units in Europe. The crews loaded boxes, jerrycans, rolled-up shelter halves, sleeping bags, spare track links and personal baggage onto the vehicle. In period photographs the stowage is often so extensive that it covers a large part of the hull.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and try the fit dry. Paint the stowage separately before you seat it. Set the materials apart by surface: canvas flat, metal with a sheen, leather darker, wood with texture. Suggest the mounting with thin wire or a strip of foil, so that the stowage does not look merely laid on.
The set is an accessory to a kit and does not replace the kit. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
